The short version
Arendelle ("we", "us") is a business run by Salonee under the brand Arendelle from Mumbai, India. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to make your gift arrive well.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use arendelle.in, why we collect it, and what your rights are. If any of this raises a question, please write to us.
What we collect
When you shop with us, we collect:
- Contact info: name, email, phone, delivery address
- Order info: what you bought, when, personalisation details (e.g. names you asked us to add)
- Payment info: processed by our payment partners (Razorpay, Shopify Payments). We do not store card numbers.
- Account info: if you create an account — login credentials, wishlist, order history
- Browsing info: automatically collected via cookies and analytics — pages viewed, time on site, device type, etc.
- Communication: WhatsApp messages, emails, and Instagram DMs you send us
Why we collect it
- To process and ship your order
- To personalise items you've asked us to personalise
- To reply to your questions and provide support
- To send order updates (shipping, delivery)
- To send marketing emails / WhatsApp messages — only if you've opted in
- To improve our website and store experience
- To comply with our legal obligations
How long we keep it
We keep your order and account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax and legal record-keeping requirements (typically 7 years for financial records under Indian law).
You can request deletion of your account at any time by writing to support@arendelle.in.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's inaccurate
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal record-keeping)
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails / WhatsApp at any time
- Withdraw consent for optional data uses

A note about children
Our products are made for children, but bought by adults. This website is intended for use by adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
How we keep it safe
We use industry-standard security practices — encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure payment processing, and access controls on our admin systems. No online system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally as our business or the law evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when. Significant changes will be communicated by email if you have an account with us.
